چکیده

Abstract Recent studies indicate that host immune responses are dysregulated with either myeloid cell compartment or lymphocyte composition being disturbed in COVID-19. This study aimed to assess the impact of SARS-CoV-2 viral infection on circulating cells severe COVID-19 patients. In this retrospective single-center cohort, 71 out 87 patients admitted intense care unit for oxygen treatment were included study. Demographics, clinical features, comorbidities, and laboratory findings collected admission. Out patients, 5 died from Compared survived deceased showed higher blood counts neutrophils monocytes but lower lymphocytes. Intriguingly, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), monocyte-to-lymphocyte (MLR), basophil-to-lymphocyte (BLR) markedly compared Furthermore, negatively correlated D-dimer levels, while ratios between (NLR, MLR, BLR) positively levels. Our revealed lymphocytes highly coagulation status patient mortality
